About the Role
We are seeking a General Litigation Associate to join our Team. The position manages a diverse range of cases, including Transportation cases, Products Liability, Premises Liability, Insurance Fraud/SIU and Mass Torts cases. Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation—from case evaluation and discovery to trial presentation—focusing on strategic thinking to achieve client goals. While skills in preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation are important, prior trial experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Managing discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery.
- Taking and defending depositions, while analyzing, complex documents and executing litigation strategies on behalf of the client. Perform legal research, draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
- Proactively manage communications with clients throughout the course of litigation.

Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, preferably within a law firm setting.
- The ideal candidate should have 1 + years of general litigation experience.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written with a capacity to be a proactive team player.
Company Offers
- Salary starting at $125,000 - $175,000 + bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
